About Cheri Walsh

Chei Walsh Physio Studio Darmouth Nova Scotia , Osteopathy Halifax Cheri Walsh BSc BScPT, a graduate from Dalhousie University, is a Physiotherapist who has been practicing in the Bedford area for the past ten years. She is a member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association (CPA) and am registered with the Nova Scotia College of Physiotherapists (NSCP).

At present, she is in the thesis stage of her study at the Canadian College of Osteopathy. Cheri has studied body acupuncture through the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada with a Western neuro-anatomical perspective rather than the Traditional Chinese Medicine approach. She studied Auricular acupuncture with Beate Strittmatter , M.D. based on the studies of P. Nogier and F. Bahr.

Cheri finds that a combination of Manual Therapy (Osteopathy and Physiotherapy) and Acupuncture (Auricular and Body) provides the best results for her clients. These skills have allowed her to achieve success treating a wide variety of ailments from sprains and strains to post surgical pain and migraine headaches. Osteopathy allows her to alleviate conditions that she previously found very challenging to treat with traditional physiotherapy alone.
